From what you already have, to something you can revise from
You do not write anything for Lumina Study. You give it the material you were going to read anyway, and it turns that into every form worth revising from — then keeps track of which parts you keep forgetting.
1.Bring what you already have
Lecture slides, a chapter, a photo of your handwritten notes, a whiteboard, a YouTube lecture. No retyping, no special format — the diagrams and equations get read too.
2.It reads it, then builds
Notes in the source's own terms, flashcards worth answering, a quiz where the wrong options are ones you could genuinely believe, and active recall that schedules each card against your own review history.
3.Study it however it suits you
Learn mode walks you through it a piece at a time. Flashcards and recall come back on a schedule built from what you got wrong. The tutor answers from your material, not from the internet.
4.See what actually stuck
Progress from real review history rather than time spent. The subjects you are quietly avoiding show up as the ones you have not reviewed, which is the useful thing to know before an exam.
One place for the whole study day
Every other study tool hands you material and leaves. You still open a timer somewhere else and keep your list somewhere else again. Here the chapter, the clock and the list are the same afternoon.
- Before
Your chapter becomes the work
Drop in a PDF or a photo of the board. Notes, flashcards and a quiz come out — and every card is scheduled, so it comes back the day you would have forgotten it.
- During
The timer sits with your material
Start a session and it follows you into your notes instead of resetting. Someone sits with you while it runs. Finish, and you have earned something.
- After
The rest of the day is written down
Everything else you meant to do, with a time on it and a reminder — from the same companion, on whatever page you are on. It goes quiet while you are mid-session.
And you don't study on your own
Pick someone to sit with you. Finish a session, earn coins, and spend them on their wardrobe. Try it here — it works before you sign up.

A timer you'll actually come back to
- Finish a session, earn coins. Only finished focus pays — breaks earn nothing, so resting is never the fastest way to level up.
- Spend them on clothes. Six outfits each, and every price is really a number of study sessions.
- It follows you around. Open your notes mid-session and the timer moves to the corner instead of resetting.
- Breaks pause, they don't end. Take five minutes and your session is waiting exactly where you left it.
Three things that are different here
Not a longer feature list — the parts other study tools leave out. Two of them you can check right here.
It brings the material back
Most tools generate flashcards and stop there.
Every card is scheduled, so it returns on the day you would otherwise have forgotten it — and a question you miss in a lesson becomes a real review, not a lost point.
It works for maths, not just essays
Most tools quietly only handle theory subjects.
A formula arrives with its symbols named and worked through. Physics, chemistry and maths chapters come out as usable as a history one.
Two free imports, not one
Most tools give you a single try before asking for a card.
Two whole chapters, free, with everything switched on — enough to find out whether this actually helps you before you decide anything.

📐 Equations of Motion
v² = u² + 2as
- v — final velocity, in metres per second
- u — initial velocity, in metres per second
- a — acceleration, in metres per second squared
Worked example
Dropped from rest, s = 20 m → v = √(2 × 9.8 × 20) = 19.8 m/s
The first two imports are free.
Whatever you are revising tonight is enough to see whether this works for you.
